Program Description

Event Details

This month we are doing an outdoors walking meditation! Join us for a meditative stroll through the library's gardens. We will meet on the back patio before we get started. In the event of rain, we will stay on the covered back patio or move indoors if needed.

Join instructor Mike Brown as he guides us through a meditation session. Participants will be invited to try various simple techniques that bring about awareness in the present moment. We'll learn about the practice of meditation, techniques to get started, and about the many benefits of this practice.

No prior meditation experience or knowledge is necessary. Attendees are welcome to bring their own meditation cushions or use a regular chair provided by the library.
