Join MFPL at The Loft Coffee House for a Pop-Up Library!

This event will take place at The Loft Coffee House! Registration is encouraged so that we know how many crafts to prepare. See you there!

Come join us in this beginning dulcimer group where we will gather and learn new songs and play together. This group usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

The simple subject of fruit has been used for centuries to create works of art. This month we’ll take a brief look at some still life paintings and a few artist that come to mind when we think of FRUIT.

Join us for a painting session with our acrylics instructor, Tracy. This month we will be painting Summer Beachy themes to celebrate the end of summer! We will learn how to create different textures in a painting using different mediums. 

Join us for this session of Hand Lettering Techniques as we practice various hand lettering techniques. Each month we will focus on a lettering style using a specific writing instrument and paper. All supplies will be provided.

This month we will be creating a double sided card on mixed media paper using watercolor paints. All supplies will be provided.

Calling all crocheters and knitters! Join us for this informal get together with other crocheting/knitting enthusiasts! Crafters are invited to share current projects, ideas, inspiration, and most importantly - knowledge!

Join us in our newest art series, Artistic Encounters! In this monthly program, instructor Jennifer will guide us through some art history and then lead us in creating our own works of art.

Stop by on Tuesdays between 2pm - 5pm for fun and easy crafts at the library! Each week, we will create a craft using a variety of materials. Please register each child to ensure that we have enough supplies. 

Join us this fall as we learn to cook healthy and tasty foods while exploring the foods of different cultures. We will learn how to cook recipes not often made in American cuisine and how these recipes are beneficial to our nutritional health.

Calling all teens! Join us every Thursday from 6pm - 7pm for crafts, games, cooking and much more! 

9/4- Clay Locker Magnets 

Stop by the library on Fridays at 4:30 for Tween Club! This club is for students ages 10 - 14, in grades 5 - 8. We'll mix it up each week, sometimes with a craft, games day, book club, or baking!

Greatful Threads is a group of quilters who gather at the library to sew quilt tops. Quilters bring their own power cords, sewing machines, and supplies.

Let's talk about our favorite graphic novels and make our own comics. We will have fun drawing challenges and activities each week. This program is for ages 5-14!

Join us as we learn from Juliea Shriver, an college art professor for almost 20 years, about Reading in Art. What better time to learn about reading in art history than Library Card Sign-up Month!

Join us for a session with our watercolor instructor, Jill.

All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own watercolor supplies if you would prefer to use them during the class.
