During this class, we'll be covering:
Bluetooth & Other Wireless Connections (What are they and basic troubleshooting)
Have you heard of “Wireless Connectivity”, but you don’t know quite what that means? Were you gifted a shiny device by relatives far away… and now you need to know how to “turn on the Bluetooth on your phone” for it to work? Well we will be talking about that and other ways to connect to digital devices without wires!
Let’s learn about Bluetooth & other wireless connections. While some form of wireless connectivity is commonplace even in the simplest of devices these days; it doesn’t mean that they are easy to use, or that they don’t have failings. Let’s find out more, together!
Topics discussed during this class:
- What is Bluetooth, and what kind of things can communicate with it?
- What are the other common “wireless” ways to connect to things?
- Open discussion time about problems and issues.
- Common troubleshooting tips
Please let us know on this registration form if you plan to use one of the library's laptops during the class or if you plan to bring your own computer device to use during the class. The library's laptops use Microsoft's Windows operating system.
