We will host a pop-up library, storytime, crafts and activities.

Join us for a magical storytime where kinder–3rd graders listen to a fun, engaging book and then bring the story to life with a hands-on activity! Each week sparks imagination, creativity, and a love of reading.

The following ages are allowed in this program:

Stop by the library on Fridays at 3:30 for Tween Club: Summer Edition! This club is open for students ages 10 - 14, in grades 5 - 8. 

June 26: Summer LEGO Challenge

Join us every other Friday afternoon for an informal hour of crafting in the Reading Room! Bring something you're working on, or learn the featured craft of the week from a library staff member.

Come Sing, Move, and Read at the library during Family Storytime! Storytime will last about 25 minutes and is intended for children 0 - 6 years old. 

(Almost) every Saturday at 10:30am in the Youth Services Program Room. 

The following ages are allowed in this program:

Join instructor Debra for an afternoon of introduction to Line Dance! We will learn the basics and more. We ask that all attendees wear tennis shoes and clothes you can freely move in.

● Youth 16 - 18 with a signed parental permission form on file to work independently

This week we will talk all about the basics and benefits of rain barrels. We'll build a rain barrel on site, and give the barrel away to a lucky attendee.

Join us this summer for Young Explorers Book Club!

Come play mahjong at the library! Practice your mahjong skills as you enjoy snacks and discussion with fellow mahjong players. The library has four mahjong sets for use by attendees, but you are welcome to bring your own set if you prefer.

Meet the artists of the Hill Country Plein Air Group! This month, the painters of the Hill Country Plein Air Group are displaying their work on our Artist Wall.

Come Sing, Move, and Read with Miss Kansas during Toddler Storytime! Storytime will last about 25 minutes and is intended for children 18 - 36 months old, or Walkers - 3 years old.

Curious about the history of Canyon Lake? How did it get there? More importantly, what lies underneath? Join us as we hear from John Coers from the Comal County Historical Commissions about the history of Canyon Lake. 

Come Sing, Move, and Read with Miss Kansas during Preschool Storytime! Storytime will last about 25 minutes and is intended for children 3 - 5 years old. You are welcome to try multiple Storytimes to find the best fit for your family!

Come Sing, Read, and Play at Baby Storytime! Babytime will last about 20 minutes and is followed by a short playtime. Babytime is intended for children ages 0 - 18 months old, or babies, crawlers, and cruisers. Older siblings welcome too!

Come and play Bridge or learn how to play Bridge with our welcoming group, open to new members. Bridge Group is fun, flexible, and social!
