Buzz of Beekeeping

If you are curious about what’s involved for those folks who keep bees, then this is a great introductory class for you. The class is designed for beginners, so no prerequisite knowledge is required. You can walk in knowing absolutely nothing about bees and walk out “bee-aware” or ready to get started with your own backyard beehive. No bee suit is needed!

Water Conservation Series

This session is part of the Water Conservation Series, presented in partnership with Dr. Steven Grainger and Dr. Larry Sunn, rain harvesting consultants with Rain Bees. These workshops were developed in response to common questions and concerns about various topics related to water conservation, water quality, pollution increases, and ecological issues. The workshops provide a brief overview (with a chance for questions and answers) for Texas Hill Country residents to better understand where our water comes from and how to protect this important resource. The 12 sessions in this weekly series take place on Mondays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm beginning June 3rd and ending August 19th. Feel free to bring your lunch while you learn of ways we all can protect our precious water sources!

By registering for this event, you will be registered for all of the sessions in this series and will receive an email reminder the day before each session. Join us for all 12 sessions in this series or just the sessions that interest you!
