Event Details
Join Lucy as she teaches us how to make a hexagon basket.
The library will provide supplies for this project, but you are welcome to bring any of your own supplies if you would prefer to use those during the class:
- Two fat quarters of fabric (1 main, 1 lining) OR two 12” x 20” pieces (1 main, 1 lining)
- Glue stick
- Wonder Clips
- Matching thread
- Hand sewing needle
- Cardboard or stiff stabilizer/interfacing (such as STIFFEN 2)
Please let us know on this registration form if you plan to use one of the library's sewing machines for this class or if you will be bringing your own.
This sewing class is best for adults and teens who have intermediate to advanced sewing skills. The basics of using a sewing machine will not be covered during this class. If you are interested in beginning sewing classes, please reach out to hannah@mfplibrary.org.
