Program Description

Event Details

As an extension of the CNC Machine 101 class, we are setting aside exclusive time for patrons to come in and gain hands-on experience with our CNC machine.

Working Space and Job Run-Time may be limited depending on the number of attendants. But, everyone will be given the chance to help set up a piece on the CNC bed and go through the Job Plotting process.  While we may not have time to do anything “fancy”, fun will be had.

The following ages are allowed in this program:

  • Adults over 18
  • Youth 16 - 18 who have a signed parental permission form on file to work independently
  • Youth over 12 with a parent in attendance and participating at all times. Please register both child and adult.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
