But may we present to you
The Lune—in 3D
We’ll use Tinkercad/Blender to create a three dimensional object modeled after lune poetry and a Prusa slicer to render the object into g-code. After you complete your creation during this class, come back to the library to have it printed during designated times in the Makerspace.
A haiku is a traditional Japanese form of poetry employing 3 stanzas of 5, 7 and 5 syllables respectively; however, the Japanese language uses more syllables in fewer words making the haiku’s English counterpart a wholly different writing experience.

Class Information
While you do not need to have previous experience with any specific computer software for this class, you will need to be comfortable using a laptop computer and have a general understanding of basic computer software.
Note: This makerspace class will also be offered on Saturday, April 22nd from 12:30pm-1:45pm. In order to help us make this class available to as many patrons as possible, please register to attend only one of the class sessions.
Attendees must be a library card holder in order to participate in this class and to use makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration for this class.
