Calling all teens! Join us every Tuesday this summer for a variety of fun crafts, snacks and activities! 

Here is what we will be doing each week...

Join us for a session with our watercolor instructor, Jill. This month we will be painting a nighttime scene featuring bats!

Stop by on Tuesdays for fun and easy crafts at the library! Each week, we will create a nature-themed craft using a variety of materials. Please register each child to ensure that we have enough supplies.

Join us every Tuesday from 3:00pm-5:00pm for a craft! This is a drop-in activity, we ask that you arrive by 4:30pm to allow time to complete the project. 

This week we will be creating a pig bookmark from felt.

Join us for an exciting adventure in Kids Book-to-Movie Club where books come to life! In June we’ll dive into creative activities based around our favorite books. In July we’ll watch the movie adaptation of the book and compare the two!

Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for STEM Day. Each month we will try a different activity that will focus on one or a combination of the four pillars of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

The following ages are allowed in this program:

● Adults 18+

● Youth 16 - 18 with a signed parental permission form on file to work independently

Join MFPL at The Loft Coffee House for a Pop-Up Library!

This event will take place at The Loft Coffee House! Registration is encouraged so that we know how many crafts to prepare. See you there!

Join us for a Family Storytime on Thursday mornings at 10:30am! Storytime will last about 25 minutes and is intended for children 0 - 6 years old. Stay after Storytime for a simple craft, sensory activity, or playtime!

Come be a part of one of the library's newest book clubs! This book club is geared towards men (age 18 and up) but open to all interested adults.

Join us as we learn from Juliea Shriver, an college art professor for almost 20 years, about Glass Art. Glass art refers to individual works of art that are substantially or wholly made of glass.

Join us to get seeds cleaned and prepped for adding to our Seed Library! New seed donations welcome, please bring in a brown paper bag with the scientific name written on it. Come and go during the time listed!
