Screen Free Saturday Craft Kit

Turn off those screens and tap into your creative side! We have a special edition of the screen free craft this month in honor of Día de los Muertos. Each kit will have supplies for you to make Día de los Muertos themed decorations for your home and will also have extra for you to help us decorate the community ofrenda at the library.

The kit can be picked up at the library's walk-up or drive-thru windows. This is a craft you take home and make on your own time using the instructions included in the kit.

Learn more about Día de los Muertos and the library's community ofrenda by joining us for a presentation and craft on Thursday, October 27th. You can view the event details and register to join us here. The community ofrenda will be on display at the library from Thursday, October 27th through Wednesday, November 2nd, and we welcome you to stop by and add to the decorations. If you would like for the library to print out a picture of a departed loved one to add to the community ofrenda, please email a digital copy to hannah@mfplibrary.org and we will print it for you.
