The following ages are allowed in this program:
- Adults (18 and older): Eligible to attend independently.
- Youth (16–17 years old): May attend with signed parental consent.
- Youth (10–15 years old):
- Must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
- The parent/adult must actively participate and work alongside the youth during the program.
- Each parent/adult may supervise only one youth.
Please note: Additional siblings or children who are not registered participants may not attend, even as observers. This policy ensures a safe and focused environment for all attendees and instructors.

Set aside some time this summer to improve your photography game! Whether you have a DSLR camera or just want to use your phone's "Pro Settings", you will get some real-life practice with the advantage of having experienced photographers around for guidance and constructive critique.
While the library will provide some photography equipment, the offerings are very limited.
Please plan on bringing your own equipment (devices, camera, multiple lenses, lights, scrims, laptop, etc.) Reach out to Maker@mfplibrary.org if you have any questions about what is available or what to bring.
Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
