March Program Topic: A look at Chrome Extensions for web developers

This month, we will look at some useful extensions provided through Chrome that can assist in developing and evaluating your website.

1. SEOquake is a free plugin that provides you with key SEO metrics, along with other useful tools such as SEO Audit and many others.

2. W3Techs Website Technology Information shows which web technologies a site is using.

3. Visual CSS Editor allows you to customize any website visually and non-destructively. Permanent changes are then made through your Dreamweaver CSS interface.

4. FireShot allows you to take FULL webpage screenshots. Capture, edit and save them to PDF/JPEG/GIF/PNG, upload, print, send to OneNote, clipboard, or email.

5. SEO Analysis & Website Review by WooRank gives you instant SEO analysis and website reviews for SEO, mobile, usability and social media. The freshest data when and where you want it.

6. Website SEO Checker is a free audit & analysis tool. Use SEO analysis for an audit for the most valuable pages at first.

7.ColorZilla is a zoomed eyedropper & color chooser tool that allows you to select color values from webpages and more.

8. WhatFont provides the easiest way to identify fonts on any web page.
