Learn about Speechcraft:
Equipping Voices Toastmasters will be conducting FREE to the public classes on public speaking (currently online) through the Mammen Family Public Library on the 3rd Monday of every month. New members should join the online meeting at 6:45pm, and the meeting will run from 7:00-8:00pm. You must register to receive a link to join the class.
Speechcraft is the quickest means by which people can jump right into the process of improving their speaking skills. The sessions cover several topics that play a part in good public speaking, including the following:
- Take the Terror Out of a Talk
- Speech Organization
- Construct a Speech
- How to Relate to Your Audience
- Gestures
- Vocal Variety
- Using Visual Aids
- Effective Speech Evaluation
Speechcraft allows experienced Toastmasters to present the fundamentals of public speaking to non-members in an atmosphere of a Toastmasters club meeting. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to the participants of the course.
