Program Description

Event Details

Join us every Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 PM for a weekly Senior Planet lecture or workshop designed to help adults learn new skills, make new friends, and so much more. Each session will cover a different topic, offering practical tips and hands-on learning.

The topic for this week's workshop is Using Google Drive

Older adults using computers in a computer lab

If you have a Gmail address, you have access to free cloud storage through Google Drive! With this cloud storage service, you can store many types of files and access them from any device with an internet connection. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create and upload folders to Drive and organize your files within folders. We’ll also go over sharing folders with others.

This workshop includes hands-on practice using an electronic device and requires participants to have a Gmail address. Please bring your Gmail username and password and be ready to sign in during the workshop. If you would like assistance creating a Gmail account, please register for a One-on-One Tech Help appointment before attending the workshop. Electronic devices will be provided.

This presentation is a part of the Senior Planet Licensing curriculum provided by Senior Planet from AARP.
