Arts, Crafts, & CultureProgram Description
Event Details
Join us for this session of Calligraphy Styles as we practice hand lettering techniques. Each month we will focus on a lettering style using a specific writing instrument and paper. During this June class, we will be practicing faux calligraphy as we experiment with pens/fine-point Sharpies and cardstock paper. We will be practicing what we learned by making decorative cake toppers. All supplies will be provided.
This month we will also continue working on our lettering journal. If you have joined us for Calligraphy Styles before and have started your lettering journal, bring it with you so you can add on! If you are new to this class, we will provide you with a lettering journal to get you started.
If you are new to calligraphy, you are welcome to jump in during any session of the Calligraphy Styles series. We'll have some resources available for beginners to help you get started.
