DESCRIPTION:Water Conservation SeriesThis week we will talk all about the 
 basics and benefits of rain barrels. We'll build a rain barrel on sit
 e, and give the barrel away to a lucky attendee. We’ll give the barrel a
 way to a lucky attendee and discuss how you can build your own rain barrel
  with some simple steps and basic supplies. The session also includes a de
 monstration on building wicking containers. This session is part of the W
 ater Conservation Series, presented in partnership with Dr. Steven Grainge
 r and Dr. Larry Sunn, rain harvesting consultants with Rain Bees. These w
 orkshops were developed in response to common questions and concerns about
  various topics related to water conservation, rain gardens, grass, water 
 quality, pollinators, planting & pruning, and ecological issues. The w
 orkshops provide overviews (with questions and answers) for Hill Country r
 esidents to better understand water conservation needs. The 14 sessions i
 n this weekly series take place on Mondays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm beginnin
 g June 8th and ending in September. Feel free to bring your lunch while y
 ou learn about ways we all can protect our precious water sources!By regis
