DESCRIPTION:Water Conservation SeriesThis week we’ll be discussing aquif
 er types, current Comal County water table levels, our two types of aquife
 rs, common misconceptions about aquifers, rates at which groundwater moves
  through an aquifer, depletion and replenishment rates, and natural filtra
 tion.This session is part of the Water Conservation Series, presented in p
 artnership with Dr. Steven Grainger and Dr. Larry Sunn, rain harvesting co
 nsultants with Rain Bees. These workshops were developed in response to c
 ommon questions and concerns about various topics related to water conserv
 ation, rain gardens, grass, water quality, pollinators, planting & pru
 ning, and ecological issues. The workshops provide overviews (with questio
 ns and answers) for Hill Country residents to better understand water cons
 ervation needs. The 14 sessions in this weekly series take place on Monda
 ys from 12:00pm to 1:30pm beginning June 8th and ending in September. Fee
 l free to bring your lunch while you learn about ways we all can protect o
 ur precious water sources!By registering for this event, you will be regis
