Event Details
Join us as we learn about added sugars (which may be lurking in many of our favorite summertime drinks) and the health benefits associated with monitoring our sugar intake. We will then apply what we learned as we create fresh and summery smoothies, without any added sugars. Attendees will even get a chance to take a spin on a blender bicycle for those who would like to add a little exercise to their smoothie-making process!
All supplies will be provided for this hands-on class.
This program is provided in collaboration with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Comal County and Methodist Health Ministries.
