Program Description

Event Details

Join Lucy as she teaches us how to sew a reversible bucket hat.

Each attendee will need to bring the following supplies to the class:

  • Half yard of fabric for the exterior of the hat (cotton fabric is recommended)
  • Half yard of coordinating fabric for the interior of the hat (cotton fabric is recommended)
  • Half yard of fusible interfacing (such as Pellon #809 Decor-Bond)

Please let us know on this registration form if you plan to use one of the library's sewing machines for this class or if you will be bringing your own. If you have any questions about the supplies or have difficulty in purchasing your own, please reach out to hannah@mfplibrary.org.

This sewing class is best for adults and teens who have intermediate to advanced sewing skills. The basics of using a sewing machine will not be covered during this class. If you are interested in beginning sewing classes, please reach out to hannah@mfplibrary.org.
