Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate Earth Day with us as we re-use and re-cycle! We generate a lot of scrap material in the makerspace–from vinyl to wood to fabric to printing materials suitable as canvas and even 3D printing filaments and meltables. Come check out what's available and help us put it to good use. We will also accept limited, usable spare materials or crafting equipment in good condition you may want to offload such as fabric, vinyl, MDF, scrap wood, etc. For questions regarding acceptable donations reach out to maker@mfplibrary.org

The following ages are allowed in this program:

  • Adults over 18
  • Youth 16 - 18 who have a signed parental permission form on file to work independently
  • Youth over 12 with a parent in attendance and participating at all times. Please register both child and adult.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
