Event Details

Join us at the library for a day filled with nature and garden themed programs!

  • 10:00am-4:00pm: Learn about plant propagation! Stop by our plant propagation station and hear tips from Comal Master Gardener volunteers. You will also get to take home your own cutting! This is a quick activity that can be done anytime the library is open this day.
  • 10:00am-4:00pm: Learn how to create healthy and diverse ecosystems in your own backyard! Master Naturalist Caroline will be on hand all day to give you tips on native plant and insect relationships and the keys to creating a healthy ecosystem. Be sure to stop by her table to say hi and learn more.
  • 10:00am-2:00pm: Stop by the San Antonio Audubon Society's table to get some tips and information on birding. They will also be providing a presentation from 12:30pm-1:30pm
  • 11:00am-12:00pm: Join us for a presentation by Comal County Friends of the Night Sky. The Comal County Friends of the Night Sky promotes win-win solutions that allow people to appreciate dark, star-filled skies while enjoying the benefits of responsible outdoor lighting and preserving our County’s rural lifestyle. They will provide a 45-minute presentation with time for a Q&A session after. You can also stop by their table on Saturday to learn more about their organization!

Registration is not required, but you can register if you would like to receive an email reminder the day before the event.
