Program Description

Event Details

Want to see what the Makerspace has to offer? Are you new to a particular machine and willing to learn with our support? Do you have a project in mind and need advice on how to make it a reality? These hours are for you!

This program is designed for library card holders to visit with Makerspace staff to discuss library equipment and resources available for use in completing their own personal project ideas. Hands-on experiences are encouraged—check out the Community Project Book for ideas or ask to make a project from a previous class.

If you plan to attend, please register below so that we can plan accordingly.

The following ages are allowed in this program:

  • Adults over 18
  • Youth 16 - 18 who have a signed parental permission form on file to work independently
  • Youth 12-15 with a parent in attendance at all times

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
