Program Description

Event Details

Students will learn how to start knitting a square during the first class, and in the second class they will learn how to finish it. The goal for this class is to gather interest for patrons to join a club where they can meet once a month and knit squares together. When enough squares are made, they will be sewn into baby blankets for the babies of the library.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
