Event Details
The following ages are allowed in this program:
● Adults 18+
● Youth 16 - 18 with a signed parental permission form on file to work independently
● Youth 10 - 15 with a participating parent in attendance at all times (one child per parent). Register your child and add yourself as the second seat.
Inkscape is a free graphic design software you can easily download and use at home. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it has become essential to taking full advantage of many of the Makerspace machines here at the MFPLibrary.
We will cover:
- Where to safely download the program from
- Basic Navigation and User Interface
- How to import images and turn them into usable Vectors
- Exporting your creations in a suitable File Type
*No need to bring a laptop with you, as this is a lecture, but it is encouraged. |

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
