Program Description

Event Details

Getting into ceramics as a hobby at home, but don't know much about glazing or finishing pieces? Want to make sure your work is water-tight, food-safe, or even microwave-safe? In this class, we will learn about different finishing techniques (such as glazing), their benefits, and when to apply them to your work for the "best results". There will be some examples in class, but you should leave with the confidence of knowing how to proceed with your projects at home!

This program is being offered on Monday, June 17th, 11:00am - 12:00pm and will be offered a second time on Tuesday, July 23rd, 1:00pm - 2:00pm. This registration page is for the class session on Tuesday, July 23rd. In order to help us make this program available to as many patrons as possible, please register to attend only one of the class dates.

Check out our other ceramics-related classes and kiln firing programs this summer! Click here for upcoming ceramics programs.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
