Join Kori Ashton for a morning of coding in Scratch. We will be creating the game: Floor is Lava - Level ONE
Join our 2-hour Scratch Camp Workshop, where creativity meets technology in a whirlwind of fun and learning! Designed for kids ages 8-18, this engaging session will introduce the basics of programming through the creation of interactive animations and gaming. Participants will dive into the colorful world of Scratch, using easy-to-understand coding blocks to bring their wildest imaginations to life as we design level one of the video game The Floor is Lava.
Our Scratch Camp Workshop offers a perfect blend of learning, fun, and exploration. Get ready to unleash your imagination, learn the magic of coding, and make new friends along the way!
This workshop is open to girls in grades 3 - 12 (ages 8 - 18). All attendees must have a (free) Scratch account!
Please let us know if you need to borrow a laptop or will be bringing your own.
