Join us for this Makerspace lecture and hands-on demonstration! Attend the lecture for an in-depth look at how to use a Cricut machine as well as tips and tricks for using Cricut Design Space and purchasing materials. Then stay for an informal lab session to explore the Cricut’s many possibilities. Attendees do not need to stay for the lab session and may opt to attend only the lab if they are already familiar with using the Cricut but would like practice time or assistance with Design Space features. Bring your own materials or practice with a limited selection of materials provided.
- Lecture: 11:00am-12:00pm
- Lab: 12:00pm-1:00pm
What is a Cricut?
The Cricut is an electronic cutting machine which can be used to cut various materials such as cardstock, vinyl, fabric, felt, and more. Designs are created on a computer using the Cricut Design Space software and then sent to the Cricut machine to cut the design. The crafting possibilities are endless when using a Cricut!
