Event Details
The following ages are allowed in this program:
- Adults (18 and older): Eligible to attend independently.
- Youth (16–17 years old): May attend with signed parental consent.
- Youth (10–15 years old):
- Must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
- The parent/adult must actively participate and work alongside the youth during the program.
- Each parent/adult may supervise only one youth.
Please note: Additional siblings or children who are not registered participants may not attend, even as observers. This policy ensures a safe and focused environment for all attendees and instructors.
Ceramics 101: *My Studio (lecture course)
- Want to do ceramics as a hobby at home, but don't know where to start?
In this class, we will discuss the "basics" of setting up a functioning ceramics studio in your home! You may already have everything you need... you just might need to put it all in the right place and add some finishing touches. We will be mainly going over a simple setup, but should have time to go over more 'elaborate' details, as well as any questions you might have for your particular 'needs'.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
