Program Description

Event Details

This program provides education on healthy and balanced meals to support a meal plan for managing hypertension. This series of three interactive classes is full of research-based information and healthy recipes.

Time and topics for each class are:  

  • DASHing Your Way to Improved Health: Tuesday, August 8 from 10:00am-11:30am
  • A Virtual Grocery Store Tour: Tuesday, August 15 from 10:00am-11:30am
  • Cooking with Spices and Herbs: Tuesday, August 22 from 10:00am-11:30am

Participants are strongly encouraged to attend the complete series of three classes to receive the most benefits from the information and recipes presented each week.

This program is provided in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
