The following ages are allowed in this program:
Adults (18 and older): Eligible to attend independently.
Youth (16–17 years old): May attend with signed parental consent.
Come learn the ins-&-outs of using the Shapeoko CNC Router machine! We will discuss “what is a C.N.C.”, what programs we use in the Makersapce to run the machine, and what materials you can bring in to cut-&-carve.
- This is a lecture class, but there will be a chance have some hands on experience with both the software and the machine itself.
Once you know the basics you can then sign-up for our “Open Maker Hours” and use the Shapeoko for your own projects!
Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
