Bring your Clay: Bisque Firing (*must pre-register, *drop-off)
Do you normally lug all your pieces from home down to the nearest ceramics shop to get them fired, and then have to pick them up and lug them all the way back? Well, someone generously donated a kiln recently, and while not “open for business” we do want to help where we can. So, you can register for a spot in our next bisque firing. Pieces must follow the requirements below and will be loaded by our resident ceramicist.
Pieces must be Bone Dry (no moisture left in them)
Only “naked” clay (no glazes or underglaze finishes)
Can’t be larger than 10” in any dimension
You must be willing to allow other pieces to be directly next to yours or even placed on top of yours (when appropriate)
Limited to two submissions a household
