Event Details
Discover how to find and download 3D models as well as basic 3D modeling design and manipulation. Thingiverse is a web-based platform loaded with various community projects shared and free to download. Tinkercad is a free online 3D modeling program with tutorials and simple object building and manipulation capable of exporting to slicing software and 3D printers.
Attendees will find and/or create projects in class then return during the week to print their chosen designs. Some designs allow for LED lighting and anything can be painted to glow in the dark—we’ll show you how!
Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
