Looking for more practical 3D design and modeling? Guest lecturer Stephen Ellery will lead a small group of patrons to design a 3D printable replacement knob in Fusion 360—a 3D engineering and manufacturing program with free versions for non-commercial users.

This is a lecture only and will not include a 3D print; however, patrons are welcome to use their knowledge to come back to the library to create 3D objects that can be printed during regular “Explore the Makerspace” sessions and DIY approved appointments throughout the year.

Please let us know on this registration form if you plan to bring your own laptop to the class or use one of the library's laptops. If you bring your own laptop, please have Fusion 360 installed ahead of time and an account set up for you to use. Laptops should have a graphics card or recent (last four years) I5 or equivalent to run Fusion 360.
